Spring is just around the corner and with it, festivals are starting again!
One that sparked our interest was the Malta International Music Festival, held for the 7th time this year.
It’s definitely a must-see event for those who appreciate quality music (sorry, no Justin Bieber or anyone else you’d see on MTV :)). Instead, the festival boasts world famous artists like Sergey Babayan (piano), Trio Gala (various instruments), Thieve’s Music (viola) and many others.
The festival takes place from 21 – 30 April, and comprises of 10 concerts – one each day. The concerts are held in several locations, but most of them take place in the Mediterranean Conference Centre in Valletta or Robert Sammut Hall in Floriana.
The “all-inclusive” ticket that allows you to visit all 10 concerts is quite pricey, at €200 a pop, but individual concert tickets start at a very reasonable €15.
