Any jazz lovers around here?
More and more festivals start getting announced for this summer, and amongst them is the Malta Jazz Festival, held at the Valletta Grand Harbour.
I visited the festival myself last year and it was a great experience. It’s rare to hear truly good music live in Malta, so definitely worth a visit!
The festival is held from 21-23 July 2017 and there are different artists and groups playing each day. The line-up includes well-known names in the jazz circuit, such as Snarky Puppy, the Omer Avital Quintet, Dominic Galea, The Fringe Youth Jazz Ensemble and many others.
The ticket costs a fair bit in comparison to some other festivals, but are still somewhat affordable – especially if you go for the early bird option (available until 15th May), which gets you a single day ticket for €25, or a 2-day ticket for €30.
Note that the first day of the festival is the “free day”, where there’s no admission fee!
